A-LEVEL RESULTS! We are delighted to announce that our students have achieved exceptionally with half of all grades awarded at A or A* representing a continued rise in achievement compared to previous years.
43 students achieved all A*/A grades across all three or four of their subjects, while 56 students achieved one or more A* grades in their examinations. These results reflect the hard work, resilience and determination shown by this year's cohort.
Notably, as a group, our students have significantly outperformed the expectations predicted from their GCSE grades when they joined the sixth form, a testament to their ambition, determination, and commitment to their studies.
Special mentions go to Katie Reid who, alongside her rigorous training schedule as a member of the England Women's U23 Football Team, achieved two A grades and one A*. An extraordinary accomplishment that demonstrates her commitment both on and off the field.
Francesca Wilson, Deputy Head Girl and a rower who this summer competed at Henley Royal Regatta and was selected for the England Rowing Team for the Home International Rowing Regatta, achieved 4 A* and is going to Oxford to study medicine in September.
We also congratulate Suhavni Matharu, who achieved 4 A* grades to add to her 11 Level 9s (A* equivalent) GCSE grades which is beyond amazing! She is going Cambridge to study engineering in the autumn.
80% of students secured their first choice university place which for some was the universities of Oxford and Cambridge to read music, engineering, computer science, philosophy, and medicine. One of our students has secured a degree apprenticeship with Deloitte in the autumn. #results #alevelresultsday #proud
