• (21.11) On Thursday 12th February, Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust are hosting a Pharmacy Careers discover evening at Stoke Madeille Hospital, aimed at Y7-13, find out out about pharmacy careers, click here to book. 

 

• (21/11) Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust are hosting a Discover Allied Health careers event at Stoke Mandeile hospital on Thursday 4th December. Aimed at students in Y7-13 it is a great opportunity to find out more about a variety of careers including dietetics, physiotherapy, podiatry and more. Click here to find out more and to book.

 

• (21/11) Clinical Psychology is always popular, so Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust are offering a number of virtual meetings for Y11-13 students to find out more.  Email bht.brightfutures@nhs.net to request a place and the Teams invite will be sent to you.  The sessions  take place as follows: 

• • Spring term 2026: Wednesday 25 February, 4.30 – 5.30pm
  • Summer term 2026: Wednesday 20 May, 4.30 – 5.30pm

• (21/11) Farrer&Co law firm are offering a 'Get into Law' virtual meeting on Monday 24th November 5pm-6.30pm. Aimed at Year 11-13 students, it is an opportunity to find out about law carers and routes in, including apprenticeships. Click here to apply.  

 

• (21/11) Lloyds Banking Group are hosting a tech, cyber and AI careers talk on Tuesday 2nd December 5pm-6pm. Aimed at Y11-13 students, it is an opportunity to understand how tech is used in baking and the opportunities available. Click here to book. 

 

• (21/11) Insight into the RAF online event will take place on Tuesday 25th November, from 5pm-6.30pm. An opportunity to find out about technology, cyber, engineering, catering, medical, accounting, HR and roles in law. Click here to apply.

• (27/01) the BBC offers Taster Days in various departments; you can register here.
• (16/1) A guide to degree apprenticeships has just been published here. It offers a good overview of apprenticeships. The companies profiled in detail represent the professions and sectors where the majority of apprenticeships are offering: finance, tech, engineering and construction. But note the list of companies at the back of the booklet is a snapshot of larger firms, not the total. 
• (5/12) BAe Systems have just launched apprenticeships across the country in a variety roles, lots to choose from here!
• (5/12) Bucks Skills Hub has published the latest edition of Classroom to Careers including information evenings and work experience opportunities., find it here.
